At what age can a student start lessons at KO?KO's youngest students are about 3 & 1/2 years old. The KO Mighty Mights class is for students 6 years old & younger. The best way to try out a few lessons to see if your child is ready is by signing up for our introductory course. Follow the link for more details!

Do KO students participate in any martial arts competitions?Yes, KO students compete in regional, national & World competition. For a new student, there are 4 regional Bok Fu Do tournaments offered every year. KO Kung Fu hosts the Summer & Winter tournaments & East-West Kung Fu hosts the Spring & Fall tournaments. All 4 of these tournaments are great for all ages & levels of experience. See the event calendar for specific dates of upcoming regional tournaments. In addition, every July, KO takes a team to Baltimore, MD to compete in the Kuo Shu Championships (hosted by the United States Chinese Kuo Shu Federation). Every 3 years, this National tournament is used as a qualifier for the USA team which will compete in the World Tournament. World Kuo Shu tournaments are held every 3 years in different host countries.
